New iPAD

This is the next generation of Apple’s iOS slate and, as usual, she’s a beaut — and yes, she’s still rockin’ a physical button. As was rumored this thing is packing a Retina display, potentially making this the most pixel-packed slate on the market. The 9.7-inch screen plays host to 3.1 million pixels in a 2048 x 1536 arrangement — that’s 264ppi. It’s not just a higher resolution though, the screen also boasts improved color saturation. Of course, what would a new iPad be without some updated guts. The new model has an A5X processor and quad-core graphics chip. Apple even claims its newest sliver of silicon can deliver four times the performance of a Tegra 3 — we’d say them fighting words.

RUMOURS !!

Wednesday,28 december 2011

Well, here is the roundup of the various rumours regarding APPLE products that is been recently hyped over the internet.

1> First Apple TVs to come this summer at 32 and 37 inches !!

Apple itv

Rumors of Apple TV sets have been swirling for months. And the Taiwanese publication DigiTimes added to the mix today, with word that its supplier sources say Apple is ordering components to build 32-inch and 37-inch TVs that should go on sale in the second half of 2012. There have been rumors floating around for years that Apple is building its own TV. The speculation got amped up this fall after Walter Isaacson revealed in his biography of former Apple CEO Steve Jobs that Apple had finally figured out how to build a user-friendly integrated TV.
“I’d like to create an integrated television set that is completely easy to use,” Jobs was quoted as saying. “It would be seamlessly synched with all of your devices and with iCloud. It will have the simplest user interface you could imagine. I finally cracked it.”
A recent Wall Street Journal article, citing sources, claimed that Apple is already talking to media executives about what content to make available for the Apple TV set. In October, Bloomberg reported that its own sources have said Apple has tapped iTunes creator Jeff Robbin to head up the television’s development. Those sources said Apple currently has a TV prototype. Also, heard is that the new Imacs might have the Apple tv included in them !

2> Apple Planning Completely Redesigned iPhone for Fall 2012 Launch !!

Iphone 5 prototype

Now about the Iphone we have heard alot but lets just give you the summary of it because we also don’t know how much of it is true…Let’s wait until the end of 2012. Also the another rumour regarding the release datoe of the next Iphone is that they are planning to release it on 4 OCTOBER 2012,which would be the 1yr.death anniversary of STEVE JOBS. Now let’s get straight to the point, yeah!

According the report, the next iPhone will utilize an aluminum back panel rather than the glass found on the iPhone 4 and 4S. The new design will reportedly also see the incorporation of a rubber or plastic bezel covering similar to that used on Apple’s iPhone bumpers, with the covering serving to protect the device’s antennas from direct skin contact.

We have also learned that Apple is planning to use a rubber or plastic material — similar to the material used in the company’s bumper cases — that will be built into the new iPhone case. In all likelihood, this material will be used as a bezel surrounding the front edge of the phone (like the iPhone 3GS bezel) and it will serve two purposes. First, it will join the glass iPhone face with a new aluminum back plate. It will also cover a redesigned antenna system that surrounds the device, allowing Apple to build the rear case out of aluminum without having to use a large plastic insert above the antennas as the company does on its iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G.

3> Apple Pushing to Introduce iPad 3 on Steve Jobs’ February 24th Birthday !!

Steve Jobs Birthday cake

Well,we all know that the next generation Ipad is due this fall and to believe the rumours it is said that the Ipad 3 might release on February 24, the birthdate of STEVE JOBS!According to the report, workers at several iPad component suppliers as well as manufacturing partner Foxconn will have limited time off during the usual Lunar New Year holiday. The Lunar New Year holiday itself falls on January 23rd next year, with workers generally receiving a number of other days off from work around that date.

4> AVAILAIBILITY OF A SMALLER Ipad !!

Ipad Mini

There’s been increasing chatter in the rumor mill about the possibility of a smaller 7.85″ iPad that could be introduced sometime in 2012.
The rationale behind the smaller form factor is for Apple to better compete against the new 7″ Kindle Fire tablet from Amazon. Amazon’s new Kindle line seems to be an early success with over 3 million sold over the first three weeks. Amazon doesn’t break down the numbers for individual models but calls out the Fire as “the most successful product we’ve ever launched”.

Apple’s never been one to try to compete spec for spec against their competitors. The iPhone, for example, has kept the same basic form factor across 5 different generations, despite a proliferation of different sizes amongst its competitors. While we’re not sure what makes a smaller iPad different, we’ve heard it frequently enough that we believe Apple is in late prototyping phases for such a device. The 7.85″ iPad actually feels a lot smaller than the existing iPad. The user interface elements, however, don’t feel that far out of place. Icons are smaller than the 9.7″ iPad, of course, but still bigger than the icons found on the iPhone. The on screen keyboard also seems quite usable at this size. Other elements, such as Safari’s location bar, do scale down but, again, are no smaller than what we’ve seen on the iPhone.

The supply chain has actually been very specific about the screen size of this rumored iPad. According to Chinese manufacturers, Apple is buying up 7.85″ screens for this upcoming mini iPad. So, we asked our friends at Ciccarese Design to put together these mockups of what a 7.85″ iPad would look like in comparison to the existing 9.7″ iPad. They also created this “actual size” PDF that can be printed out so you can play with one yourself in real life.
